C’est Moi
Jeff was born 5 February, 1984 in Pennsylvania. While growing up, his family moved every few years to various cities around the midwest, but he considers Chicago home. He moved to Lafayette four years ago to attend college, and hasn’t yet managed to escape.
After spending his Freshman year as a Computer Science major and deciding it wasn’t for him, he took a semester off from school to work and figure out what he wanted to do. After a semester at IUPUI, he returned to Purdue as a technical theatre major, returning to the love of, and aptitude for, theatrical lighting that he’d developed in high school. This also didn’t pan out, and Jeff began his Senior year by starting a third major, Medieval Studies. After a pants-related incicent left him with decreased mobility, he missed enough class the first semester his senior year to be dropped from Purdue.
January of 2006 he moved into an apartment with his girlfriend, Angela, and started a job working tech support for various web hosting companies. Ten months later he’s living in an even better apartment (in the same building as his office), a level two tech, and in the process of being mentored by one of the admins with the goal of eventually being promoted to admin himself.
In addition to a wannabe tech guru and a thrice-unsuccessful college student, Jeff’s an avid reader and gamer (both roleplaying and video). With the birth of his daughter on 1 October and her subsequent adoption by his sister, he’s also a first-father and now twice an uncle.
